Uvita is about a 15 minute drive south of Dominical on a fully paved highway. This little town is home to Marina Ballena National Park, and the number one activity is whale watching. Like nearby Dominical, the pace is relaxed and serene here and the views are some of the most beautiful in the world. Recent developments in infrastructure including restaurants and banks, makes Uvita an up and coming community.
